• Work Schedule: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Philippine Time)
• Employment Type: Full-Time Freelance (40 hours/week)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Freelance 3D Artist to join our team on a full-time contract basis. This role is focused on the production of high-performance 3D assets specifically optimized for AR and VR applications . If you are an artist who values clean topology, technical efficiency, and visual realism, we want to work with you.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end creation of 3D models, ensuring they look stunning while meeting the strict optimization requirements necessary for immersive technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Asset Creation: Design and model high-quality 3D assets, maintaining a perfect balance between visual fidelity and real-time performance.
• Workflow Mastery: Expertly manage both low-poly and high-poly workflows, ensuring all assets feature clean, efficient topology.
• Baking & Texturing: Execute precise baking workflows, including the creation of normal maps, ambient occlusion, and other essential texture maps.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure all deliverables are optimized for AR/VR environments, keeping geometric complexity and texture memory in mind.
• Reliability: Maintain a consistent full-time schedule (8 hours/day) within the required shift window.

 

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a professional who understands that the “best” model is one that looks great and runs flawlessly. You should be proactive, communicative, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Core Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Proven proficiency in hard-surface 3D modeling.
• AR/VR Experience: Demonstrable experience in delivering assets for real-time immersive applications.
• Software Proficiency: Mastery of Blender or Maya is required.
• Workflow: Deep understanding of modern 3D pipelines, including UV unwrapping, baking, and PBR texturing.

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

• Experience working with mechanical or CAD-based assets.
• Familiarity with Plasticity or Autodesk Nuke .
