Social Worker – Medical Social Worker (Travel - Temporary Assignment) | Devens, MA | Start 09/21/2026 | 13 weeks | $1,902–$2,032 per week | 40 guaranteed hours | Day shift | Inpatient behavioral health/acute care setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect clinical social work services as part of a multidisciplinary care team, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and direct care staff.
- Administer biopsychosocial assessments, participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning, coordinate case management, and provide individual and family therapy.
- Develop, implement, and document discharge planning and aftercare strategies to support safe transitions and community supports.
- Support care coordination by liaising with insurance providers, patients and families, hospital teams, and external community resources.
- Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic health record; perform risk and safety assessments as part of ongoing care.
- Contribute to treatment planning by incorporating patient strengths and psychiatric considerations to guide interventions and continuity of care across settings.

Requirements
- Active MA LCSW/LICSW or LMHC license or eligibility
- Clinical Master’s Degree (MSW) required; CANS Certification within 30 days of hire
- Prior inpatient behavioral health or acute care experience preferred
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records; Medsphere/Vista experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Willingness to float to similar or lower acuity units and to work holidays/weekends as needed
