Impulse Space is seeking a Senior Counsel, Head of Government Contracts , to serve as the company’s in-house expert on U.S. government and defense contracting. This senior role is central to Impulse’s mission of advancing in-space transportation, providing strategic legal counsel across the full lifecycle of government programs.
The Senior Counsel will advise executives and cross-functional teams on all aspects of government contracts and subcontracts, including prime and subcontractor relationships. Responsibilities include:

Deep knowledge of government contracting principles, strong business judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership are essential. Experience supporting defense or national security programs in the space sector is highly valued.
