Job Description

About Cymbiotika At Cymbiotika, we believe that wellness starts with trust. That’s why we’re committed to creating supplements that are not only effective but also transparent. From the moment you pick up one of our products, you’ll know exactly what’s inside—no hidden ingredients, no confusing labels. We take pride in using only the highest-quality ingredients, carefully sourced and backed by science, to ensure you’re getting the best of nature and innovation in every supplement.

We understand that health is personal, which is why our supplements are designed to work with your body, not against it. By focusing on bioavailability and using advanced liposomal delivery systems, we ensure that your body can absorb and use the nutrients to their fullest potential. Our goal is simple: to help you feel your best, with products you can trust, made with ingredients you feel good about.

With Cymbiotika, you’re not just taking a supplement—you’re joining a community of people who value wellness, science, and the power of transparency. We’re here to empower you on your journey to better health, every step of the way.

Role Summary

Cymbiotika is seeking a highly strategic and creatively driven Senior Brand & Technical Copywriter to help define and evolve the voice of one of the fastest-growing wellness brands in the market.

This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling, creative strategy, science, and consumer marketing. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer who can move seamlessly between emotionally compelling brand narratives and technically accurate, science-backed product communication.

You’ll translate complex scientific, nutritional, and product information into clear, credible, and engaging stories that consumers can understand and connect with—without sacrificing accuracy, sophistication, or brand voice.

As a senior member of the Creative and Marketing organization, you’ll help shape campaign concepts, messaging architecture, product storytelling, and the broader Cymbiotika voice across every consumer touchpoint. You’ll collaborate closely with Brand, Creative, Product Marketing, Digital, Social, Retail, E-commerce, PR, and Product Development teams to develop work that is both culturally relevant and commercially effective.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thinks beyond the words on the page—someone who understands why a message works, who it is speaking to, and how to turn complex ideas into memorable brand stories.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Creative Development

  • Develop and own high-level brand messaging across integrated campaigns, product launches, seasonal initiatives, retail activations, digital experiences, and experiential marketing.
  • Partner with Creative Leadership, Art Directors, Designers, and Marketing leaders to develop campaign concepts from initial ideation through execution.
  • Develop campaign platforms, headlines, taglines, brand narratives, manifestos, messaging frameworks, and supporting copy.
  • Help define and evolve Cymbiotika's brand voice, tone, language, and messaging principles across consumer touchpoints.
  • Bring a strong understanding of consumer behavior, culture, wellness trends, and competitive positioning to creative development.
  • Present creative concepts and messaging rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Help establish creative standards and provide copy direction across projects and channels.

Technical & Scientific Copywriting

  • Translate complex scientific, nutritional, biochemical, and ingredient information into compelling, accessible consumer-facing content.
  • Partner closely with Product Development, R&D, Regulatory, and Product Marketing teams to ensure technical accuracy and responsible communication.
  • Develop product education, ingredient storytelling, product benefit messaging, FAQs, educational content, and technical marketing materials.
  • Balance scientific credibility with an approachable, premium, and emotionally engaging brand voice.
  • Research scientific topics, ingredients, emerging wellness trends, and relevant research to inform accurate and differentiated messaging.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify complex concepts without oversimplifying or misrepresenting the science.
  • Ensure product claims and supporting language align with applicable FDA, FTC, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory and Legal teams when needed to review claims, substantiation, disclaimers, and consumer-facing language.

Integrated Marketing & Campaigns

  • Write and oversee copy across integrated campaigns, including:
  • Adapt core messaging across channels while maintaining a consistent brand narrative and voice.
  • Develop messaging hierarchies that clearly communicate the most important consumer benefits and reasons to believe.
  • Write for both upper-funnel brand storytelling and lower-funnel conversion-focused marketing.

Product & Consumer Storytelling

  • Develop compelling narratives around Cymbiotika's products, ingredients, formulations, technology, and point of difference.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing and R&D to understand product strategy, consumer needs, competitive differentiation, and scientific substantiation.
  • Turn product features and technical information into meaningful consumer benefits and stories.
  • Develop messaging that builds trust, education, credibility, and emotional connection with the consumer.
  • Ensure product storytelling remains consistent across launch materials, digital experiences, retail environments, packaging, and ongoing marketing.

Editorial & Brand Governance

  • Serve as a senior editorial voice and copy authority across the organization.
  • Edit and elevate copy created by internal teams, agencies, freelancers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Maintain consistency in brand terminology, tone, messaging, grammar, and style.
  • Develop and maintain copy standards, messaging guidelines, and brand voice documentation.
  • Establish quality-control processes for consumer-facing communications.
  • Identify inconsistencies or opportunities to strengthen messaging across the customer journey.

Additional Duties: Perform other related duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned based on business needs and organizational priorities.

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of professional copywriting experience in-house, agency, CPG, wellness, beauty, health, or a similar consumer-focused industry.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and conceptual development skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Experience translating complex scientific, technical, or product information into clear, compelling consumer messaging.
  • Strong understanding of brand voice, messaging strategy, consumer marketing, and integrated campaigns.
  • Experience writing across digital, social, email, web, paid media, retail, packaging, and/or experiential.
  • Familiarity with FDA, FTC, and claims requirements for wellness, supplements, or other regulated consumer products.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering with Creative, Marketing, Product, R&D, Regulatory, or Legal teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.

The ideal candidate is:

  • A world-class writer who can make complex ideas feel simple, relevant, and memorable.
  • A strategic thinker who understands that great copy starts with a strong consumer insight and clear brand strategy.
  • Equally comfortable writing a campaign headline and explaining the science behind a product.
  • Curious about science, wellness, culture, and consumer behavior.
  • Able to balance creativity with precision, accuracy, and regulatory responsibility.
  • A strong conceptual thinker who can contribute meaningfully before the writing begins.
  • Comfortable challenging the brief, asking thoughtful questions, and pushing ideas further.
  • Highly collaborative and confident working with creative, marketing, scientific, and executive stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and passionate about getting the language exactly right.
  • Able to move between emotional brand storytelling and technical product education without losing the Cymbiotika voice.
  • Excited to help define the next chapter of a rapidly growing wellness brand.
