Salary: $162,000 - 215,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• We are looking for 7+ years of proven professional experience.
• We need a strong foundation in core Java and related technologies, including object-oriented design and design patterns.
• We expect a track record of building high-quality software using design-led and test-driven approaches.
• We need hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• We require deep knowledge of concurrent programming and experience designing high-throughput, highly available, fault-tolerant distributed applications.
• We need extensive experience building microservices architecture and/or SOA.
• We require experience with message-oriented streaming middleware such as Kafka, MQ, AMPS, or NATS.
• We need a solid understanding of relational databases.
• We expect experience using modern engineering tools such as git, maven, unit and integration testing tools, and mocking frameworks.
• We value experience with agentic coding and a general understanding of how LLMs work.
• We need strong analytical and software architecture design skills with an emphasis on test-driven development.
• We are looking for excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• We value some experience or genuine interest in finance and investment processes, or the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• We need experience leading development teams, projects, or the design and technical quality of a significant application, system, or component.
• We want someone who can build positive relationships with partner teams, sponsors, and user groups.
• Nice-to-have experience includes SQL and/or NoSQL technologies such as MS SQL, Sybase, Cassandra, or Redis.
• Nice-to-have experience includes cloud-native design patterns, event-driven microservice architectures, and large-scale distributed technologies such as Kafka, Mongo, Ignite, or Redis.
• Nice-to-have experience includes building microservices and APIs with REST, Kafka, or gRPC.
• Nice-to-have experience includes work in agile teams or open-source development projects.
• Nice-to-have experience includes optimization, algorithms, or related quantitative processes.
• Nice-to-have experience includes cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Nice-to-have experience includes cloud deployment tools such as Docker, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Nice-to-have experience includes DevOps tooling such as Azure DevOps.
• Nice-to-have experience includes AI-related projects, products, or research environments.
• Nice-to-have experience includes modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Nice-to-have experience includes Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
• Nice-to-have qualifications include a degree, certifications, or an open-source track record demonstrating strong software engineering principles.

• We lead individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using Agile methodologies.
• We deliver high-throughput, scalable, highly available, concurrent, and fault-tolerant software systems.
• We collaborate with team members across multiple offices and countries.
• We contribute significantly to the development of Aladdins global, multi-asset trading platform.
• We work with product management and business users to define the product roadmap.
• We design and build innovative solutions to complex problems while identifying issues and blockers.
• We apply validated quality software engineering practices throughout all phases of development.
• We ensure resilience and stability through code reviews, unit, regression, and user acceptance testing, DevOps, and level-two production support.
• We help lead with vision and partner on brainstorming solutions that improve team productivity and efficiency while guiding and motivating others.
• We promote a strong culture by bringing inclusion and diversity principles to the team through recruiting, management actions, and employee engagement.
