Salary: $155,000 - 195,000 per year Requirements:

• 10+ years of SAP experience, primarily in hands-on SAP Finance (FICO) configuration rather than project management
• SAP S/4HANA experience, including at least two full implementations or major upgrades
• Hands-on experience configuring Accounts Receivable and Credit Management, including high-volume cash application
• Experience with the SAP Digital Payments Add-On and at least one payment-provider integration
• Experience in retail, consumer products, fashion, luxury, or another high-volume sales environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting controls, reconciliation, and month-end close
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Clear communication skills with finance leaders, business users, and technical teams
• Preferred: SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience
• Preferred: Experience with SAP integration tools such as Integration Suite/CPI, BTP, or APIs
• Preferred: Experience with payment providers such as Adyen, Worldpay, Cybersource, Stripe, or PayPal/Braintree
• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or SAP Commerce Cloud
• Preferred: US and Canadian sales tax experience, including Avalara or Vertex

• Design, configure, test, and support SAP finance and accounting functions, including general ledger, receivables, payables, cost accounting, tax, and month-end close; reduce manual journal entries, spreadsheets, and offline reconciliations
• Configure and support customer credit limits, credit checks, order holds, high-volume cash application, collections, deductions, chargebacks, and write-offs across wholesale, retail, and online channels
• Manage the SAP Digital Payments Add-On and integrations with payment providers and banks, covering card authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, and reconciliation in accordance with PCI and security requirements
• Diagnose and resolve integration issues between SAP and connected systems, including e-commerce, point of sale, banks, tax engines, and EDI
• Partner with integration, development, and e-commerce teams, write functional specifications, and minimize custom development
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and go-live for finance changes
• Support month-end close, maintain documentation, meet SOX and audit controls, and mentor junior analysts
• Investigate and resolve issues involving failed payments, incorrect credit holds, and unreconciled accounts across SAP, connected systems, and payment providers

We are seeking an SAP S/4HANA FICO Techno-Functional Lead to serve as our hands-on finance systems expert, supporting the processes that record sales, payments, and accounting. This is a full-time, permanent role based onsite in New York City on a hybrid schedule. Compensation is $140,000–$160,000 plus bonus.
