Role Overview Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Third Shift) in the Hangar 10 department, reporting to the Night Shift Manager. The role leads and directs a crew of subordinate maintenance staff and oversees the quality and documentation of their work. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with the Supervisor / Foreman on the scheduling and assignment of daily job tasks Lead and direct subordinate crew members in the performance of job tasks, and ensure productivity and work quality are satisfactory Ensure all identified maintenance discrepancies are documented Perform troubleshooting and assist in determining the proper course of maintenance action when a discrepancy is found Assist subordinate crew members in interpreting maintenance manual or SRM instructions Ensure all maintenance performed by subordinate crew members is in accordance with approved maintenance data such as the AMM, SRM, CMMs, WDM, Service Bulletins and EAs, and that all maintenance actions are properly documented Provide on-the-job training to subordinate crew members as necessary Provide oversight of subordinate crew members and assist the Supervisor / Foreman in identifying the need for training or remedial training Assist subordinate crew members in the accomplishment of assigned tasks Assist the Supervisor / Foreman in identifying any safety-related deficiencies Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Foreman Licences & Qualifications Licence: FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant licence required High school graduate Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair on commercial category aircraft Requirements Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily Must be able to work overtime, weekends and days off Able to read, write, speak and understand English; able to write routine reports and correspondence, and to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff Additional Information Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, talk or hear, and use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds, to eye level Lift 10 pounds with each arm overhead Twist and turn using normal strength forces Climb numerous flights of stairs Work on ladders and lifts, and in some cases at high elevations Work in a squatting position Work in all weather conditions Work environment: Work is performed primarily in a construction and maintenance setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Requirements
