Job Description

seeking a highly motivated IT AI & Data Platforms Product Owner to lead the strategy, vision, and delivery of enterprise AI, analytics, and data platform capabilities. This role will be responsible for maximizing the business value of Eaton's AI and Data Platform portfolio while partnering closely with senior leadership, business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technology vendors.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong balance of product management expertise, stakeholder engagement, and technical acumen. This individual must be an exceptional communicator who can influence across all levels of the organization, quickly learn new technologies and business domains, manage competing priorities, and effectively challenge technical and business assumptions to drive the best outcomes.

This position will play a critical role in shaping the future direction of Eaton's enterprise AI and data platform strategy while ensuring delivery of scalable, secure, and business-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, communicate, and execute the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for AI and Data Platform products and services.
• Own and manage the product backlog, translating strategic objectives into actionable epics, features, and user stories.
• Partner with business leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to identify opportunities that drive measurable business value.
• Lead stakeholder engagement activities, gathering requirements and aligning priorities across multiple business functions.
• Establish and monitor product success metrics, KPIs, and business outcomes.
• Drive Agile product delivery processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and stakeholder reviews.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, analytics teams, and platform consumers to execute product roadmaps.
• Manage platform investments, budgets, licensing, consumption costs, and vendor relationships.
• Support enterprise governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, access management, and platform operational excellence.
• Balance strategic initiatives, technical debt reduction, continuous improvement efforts, and operational support needs.
• Influence platform direction while providing enough technical depth to challenge stakeholders, architects, and technology partners on solution approaches and priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, Program Management, Technology Delivery, Data Platforms, Analytics, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience working with enterprise data, analytics, AI, cloud, or integration platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority across cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, prioritization, and Agile delivery processes.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology investments to business outcomes.
• Ability to rapidly learn new technologies, business processes, and industry trends.
• Experience working directly with vendors and strategic technology partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Dataiku, Coalesce, Palantir, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of AI/ML platform capabilities and modern analytics ecosystems.
• Experience with cloud-based data architectures, APIs, data integration, ETL/ELT, and data ingestion frameworks.
• Familiarity with DataOps, DevSecOps, Agile, Scrum, and modern product delivery practices.
• Experience utilizing Jira and Agile project management tools.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting globally distributed teams and enterprise-scale technology initiatives.
