Part-Time Seafood Cutter / Retail Associate

Hooked on Fish is a family-owned seafood market seeking a part-time Seafood Cutter / Retail Associate to join our small team. We take pride in offering exceptionally fresh seafood and helping customers feel confident preparing it at home.

This hands-on role combines seafood cutting and preparation with customer service. If you have strong knife skills, an interest in seafood, and a friendly approach to working with customers, we’d love to hear from you.

• Break down whole fish and cut, trim, and portion fillets for retail sale and customer orders.

• Handle seafood carefully to maintain quality, freshness, and food safety.

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and offer seafood selection and cooking suggestions.

• Prepare orders and process sales.

• Keep cutting stations, equipment, displays, and the store clean and organized.

• Experience filleting and butchering fish is preferred; we’re willing to train the right person with solid knife skills and a willingness to learn.

• An interest in seafood and cooking; knowledge of fish varieties is a plus.

• A friendly, dependable team member with attention to detail.

• Food sanitation certification, or willingness to earn it at our expense.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
