Job Description

Mountain Projects is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining company information and records while ensuring data is complete, consistent, and properly organized.
Job Summary

The Data Entry Specialist will handle a variety of administrative and data-related tasks, including entering information into company systems, reviewing records for accuracy, maintaining databases, and assisting team members with administrative needs. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable working with computers, and able to maintain a high level of accuracy while managing repetitive tasks.
Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and update data into databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems.
  • Review information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Identify and correct data entry errors or discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical records.
  • Process documents, forms, invoices, reports, and other administrative materials.
  • Retrieve and verify information when needed.
  • Assist with data cleanup, record maintenance, and database updates.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
  • Prepare basic reports and spreadsheets as requested.
  • Communicate with internal departments to resolve missing or inconsistent information.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous data entry or administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to learn new software and internal systems quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
