Job Description:
To support people with exploring activities in their local community and/or support while at their jobs. The perfect applicant will enjoy supporting people in trying new opportunities in the community, developing meaningful relationships with community members, maintaining employment and discovering other meaningful activities or employment of the person's choice, while achieving their goals. Preference will be given to the person who can demonstrate the abilities to be patient, organized, motivated, and a self-starter. The applicant will have the ability to create a personalized schedule for the people supported and listing meaningful opportunities that they choose with staff support. Desired character traits include role model, being compassionate, pro-active, observant, caring and patient.
